Justin has been leading and serving others in the behavioral health treatment industry since 2012 with experience in every aspect of the industry. As the Executive Director, a person in long-term recovery, and an alumni of the Renaissance program, he brings a unique perspective and deep empathy to the work we do every day. The values he gained from treatment are service, accountability, integrity, faith, and brotherhood. His journey through addiction recovery has been the foundation of his leadership. He understands the pain of addiction, the courage it takes to seek help, and the transformative power of spirituality and a Higher Power. That understanding drives his passion for building a safe, compassionate, and effective environment where individuals can heal, reclaim their lives, and reunite with their families. Beyond the responsibilities of his role, he's most proud of the culture cultivated among the Idaho team. He believes strong teams are built on trust, authenticity, and shared purpose, and he takes the time to know his employees on a personal level. He believes Renaissance is more than a place for treatment; it's a community of healing and shelter from the storm.

After spending 17 years in active addiction, I began my recovery journey through the justice system. My recovery is deeply rooted in service work; I have spent 19 years working with homeless shelters and veterans, as well as bringing recovery meetings to prisons in both Idaho and Oregon. In 2019, when my previous company relocated to the East Coast after 14 years, I decided to pursue an education and earned my degree in social work. I have worked in admissions and business development for the past three and a half years, and I truly love what I do. Outside of work, I have a large family and love spoiling my four grandchildren. I feel that God brought me to Renaissance, and this is truly where I am meant to be. Having worked with hundreds of treatment programs across the nation, I can say from the core of my being that I have never seen another program with the level of dedication found here. From our leadership and staff to our clients, alumni, and families, our collective belief in this program stands alone.

Ryan brings more than a decade of experience in the helping profession, with a background that includes behavioral health, addiction treatment, trauma, and work with individuals and marriages facing life's most difficult seasons. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Army veteran, and chaplain-trained clinician, Ryan believes meaningful change begins and ends with love. His approach to therapy is simple: "Whatever works, do that. If it's not working, let's change to something that does." Ryan cares deeply about the people he serves and believes recovery is about more than simply stopping a behavior; it is about seeing differently. For Ryan, the greatest privilege of this work is walking alongside people as they learn to see their lives differently, to discover that their story was not written to condemn them, but for them.
